Questions
The ones teams and procurement actually ask. Anything else: [email protected].
Booking
How fast do we get options?
Within one business day of the requirement arriving — usually a short list of two to five furnished apartments, each with the all-in monthly rate, distance to your site, what’s included, and photos of the actual unit.
What counts as a business day?
Monday to Friday, US Eastern time, excluding federal holidays. A requirement sent Tuesday afternoon has options by Wednesday afternoon; one sent Friday evening has them Monday.
Is there a minimum stay?
No fixed one. Most placements run from around two weeks upward; under that, a hotel is often genuinely the better tool and we’ll say so.
Can we extend?
Yes, by email, on the terms agreed before move-in. Extensions are the norm, not the exception, so the mechanics are settled up front rather than negotiated mid-stay.
What if the project ends early?
Early-exit terms are agreed in writing before move-in, per unit — notice period and any wind-down cost stated on the option sheet. When the assignment is cut short, the housing ends with it on those terms.
During the stay
Who do we call when something breaks?
Your named cohauz contact — one person with a direct email and phone, who coordinates the building’s maintenance and follows it to done. There is a written escalation path behind them.
Can people in the team swap mid-stay?
Yes. Rotations and roster changes are handled on our side without touching the contract — send the name change and the unit carries on.
What’s in the unit on arrival?
Furniture, a full kitchen with cookware and dishes, linens, towels and starter supplies, utilities and Wi-Fi live, and keys, parking and Wi-Fi details sorted before anyone lands.
Billing and procurement
How are we invoiced?
One monthly invoice per requirement, itemised by unit, with PO number and cost-centre fields. Net 30 on approved credit; ACH, card or check.
Do you charge us a fee?
No. No sourcing, placement, application or booking fees, and the rate doesn’t change after you accept the option sheet.
Do you handle occupancy tax?
Yes — where it applies, it’s calculated for the stay and shown as its own line on the invoice. On longer stays it’s reduced or exempt in most jurisdictions.
Can you provide a COI?
Yes. A certificate of insurance is issued on request, naming your company as certificate holder, matched to your vendor policy’s wording where required.
